The KIM, or the Kőbánya Rescue Service was created by the local government of Kőbánya and the Hungarian National Ambulance Emergency Service. Equipment and ambulances were already available, however our help deferred the additional operating costs. On December 19, 2012, KIM launched its rescue operations. In the first 15 days they answered close to 180 calls – 40% more

than the unit’s counterpart, the National Ambulance Emergency Service. Since KIM is an alternative service under the National Ambulance Emergency Service, there was no legal barrier to forming the first women’s rescue team. The teams’ uniform features the Docler Holding’s logo and we are proud to sponsor this much needed initiative.
